Message from the President of the Sierra Leoa Foundation

Alim Abdul Koroma

Project Title: Maikaiba Water Tap Project

To the esteemed residents of the Maikaiba community, and to all Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad

It is with great pride and gratitude that the Sierra Leoa Foundation announces the successful completion and commissioning of six new water taps across the Grafton-Maikaiba area. This achievement marks a significant step forward in our mission to improve lives and promote sustainable development-one community at a time

Our Mission

The Sierra Leoa Foundation is committed to transforming lives through a holistic approach grounded in charity, education, innovation, and empowerment. We focus on uplifting underprivileged children, youth, women, and farmers by expanding access to quality education, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, and modern agricultural practices

We also strive to foster unity, peace, and democratic values, while building strong partnerships with NGOs and community-based organizations. Through scholarships, humanitarian aid, training programs, and advocacy, we envision a future where every Sierra Leonean-regardless of background-has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society

About the Maikaiba Water Tap Project

This initiative directly supports our healthcare and sustainable livelihood goals. As the saying goes, "Water is life." By providing clean and accessible water, we are helping to reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases and improve overall health outcomes for the community ensuring a brighter, healthier future for generations to come

We kindly urge all community members to use these water taps responsibly and to help maintain them for the benefit of both current and future residents

Acknowledgments

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire Sierra Leoa Foundation team for their unwavering dedication. Special

thanks to

Mr. Felix David Conteh, Lead Program Coordinator, for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the success of this project

All local contractors and workers whose efforts and craftsmanship brought this vision to life

In Conclusion Let us all take pride in this accomplishment and work together to preserve these six waters taps so they may continue to serve the community for years to come. Thank you for welcoming the Sierra Leoa Foundation and for your continued support as we pursue our mission to transform lives across our beloved Sweet Sweet Salone

Warm regards
